Sim Gulati has background in manufacturing apparel and retail. He started Barley & Britches, an online premium apparel company with the goal of creating a relationship with the manufacturer and the consumer. He was tired of paying retail for goods when he knew that manufacturing costs were a fraction of the retail price. With B&B they want to disrupt the traditional retail supply chain by leap frogging the middleman and go straight to the consumer.
