Crowdfunding for Start-Ups and Small Business

To have a real impact on the market place when bringing up a new product, three elements are required. First, there needs to be a societal need or a problem; second, there needs to be a new technology or process that can solve that problem and third, there needs to be a cultural willingness or receptivity to trying something new.

With crowdfunding all three elements are in place, but enterpreneurs still can’t be secure that their startup of small business will be succesfull. Main risks and challenges a young enterpreneur can meet were discussed at Milken Institute conference 2012 with experts, lawyers and founders of such platforms as Indiegogo and SomoLend.
